Massasoit 2020 LPN TO RN

Hi All,

I applied for Massasoits LPN to RN program for spring 2020. I got an email yesterday for log-in info to the Massasoit Student portal. But I haven't received a letter stating my acceptance or denial. Has anyone heard anything?> Do you know when we should expect the letters?

That’s how I found out when I got in a couple of years ago. Came here to look for someone else to see if they were sending anything yet. Log in and look at your program, should say you are in the program.

I was told by admissions that letters should be expected mid November. You can also check under Degreeworks to see if your major has changed to nursing.

Hello Kmartel,

Did you check your degreeworks student page? I haven't received any letter. I called admissions and I was told letters will go out in November.

Did everyone complete the pre-requisites at the time of application? What about the teas score? I am nervous. I can't wait for letters to go out.

I only had microbiology left which I'm currently taking and it's not technically a "pre"-req so I'm still trying to be hopeful.

I have never attended Massasoit, I completed all my pre reqs at Quincy. So I was emailed a log in for massasoits students but I don’t have a degree works account... wahhhh..... I hope we get the letters soon! Keep me updated if anyone’s degree works major changes!!

@ Kmosc and Kmartel were your TEAS scores high at the time of application? My overall TEAS score is 63. Am trying to be hopeful... Will keep you posted when my degreeworks changes or when I receive my acceptance (staying positive ?) letter.

I wanted to comment so I can be kept in the loop of when people start hearing back. I have a circle of friends that have applied as well and we have all been holding our breath waiting to find out either way of getting in or not. My degreeworks hasn’t been audited since mid august, not sure if that is a good thing or not. I got a 75 on my TEAS and have taken all prereqs and classes besides nursing and nursing trends. @kmartel if you go onto Massasoit website with your username and password for the email, you can access degree works. On the phone it is over to the left hand side- however it can be harder to use so on an actual computer is best. My degree is listed as unenrolled as I have not declared a major and just took all of my classes. Hoping that’ll change to nursing per the theory but until then, I look forward to getting updates either from comments on this thread or by my friends and I either receiving our letters. @VM85 u did well in the TEAS. Is the 75 your overall score or it's for the reading? This waiting game is making me nervous. Do you know anyone who completed the LPN to RN at massasoit?

Thanks. I got a 75 overall. In reading I got a 79. Waiting is tough just because it’s coming down to crunch time and at this point I just want to know for financial and life arrangement purposes. I know many people who have gone through the program. They all report they had similar wait times. I’m sure everyone is feeling this way. Fingers crossed!

I am hoping that they send the letters out soon. My work puts out 2 months of schedule ahead of time and I need to plan. This is my third attempt at getting accepted so fingers crossed.
