I want to take the LPN route first as I just see it fitting my life at this point. I just want to know a little bit more about these centers I keep hearing about.
Do you have to have any pre req's for them?
How long is the LPN program?
If you went there, Do you have any advice?
cost of LPN program?
Is financial aid offered?
Hours of class?
Do they offer the LPN program at different center's or just one & if so which one?
Times of year the program is offered?
Any feedback from you all would be great as we all know getting info. from future, present or alumni students is SO much more helpful;)
I just found out late Thursday from a friend who is also starting the program. I called to ask it was confirmed, a letter will be sent out. So, probably Friday it was mailed. He said he would email me also and suprise suprise I never got it.
I have come to realize that this place is completely unorganized:bugeyes: and doesn't know what the heck they are doing. It really seems that they are totally in it for the $$$$$. I hope things get better.
Unfortunately I have came to the same realization, they told me that I was completely approved then I got a call friday reminding me my payments due, well if I thought it wasn't covered through loans I would have made sure it was paid sometime ago. I am just happy I'm in and not on the RN waitlist:), and we are guaranteed a spot assuming we apply within 6 months of graduation (with prequesites completed and adequate HESI's) directly into third semester of the rn program, so that speeds are process of quite a bit. I just hope that I don't get too frustrated (school hasn't even started)!!!

I think they did ours that way, too. You will get absolutely nowhere if you call and try to contact them...just be very patient. I was supposed to know by mid October and didn't find out till early November. I was contacted by phone and by mail. My class started out with 53 people, too...not 40. There were about 5 people that had to come back to retake classes. It really is too many people, I wish they would drop it down to about 30~but, then again...maybe I wouldn't have gotten in if it had been smaller :) When are you supposed to know?
Hang in there!
