Oh I think you're okay, I do believe you have through nearly the end of January to submit your application. What schools are you looking to get into? I put in for GCC & Ottawa for my first choices.

I will submit my CEP application once grades post for this semester, hoping to get my application submitted before the holiday break. Praying for a summer CEP University start.

Also, I had an email from GCC's nursing department this morning and they said they are accepting CEP applications through January 31st for summer university start and Fall Block 1 CC start. I think both of you will have your applications in in plenty of time. If you haven't taken HESI already take it, it's a 60 day wait period to retake it if you need to.

Yeah, I met with an advisor yesterday and am aware of Jan 31st deadline - I just hope they don't place everyone before I apply (that's the neurosis in me). I plan to take the Hesi first think Decemer (don't have any time to do it before hand) and banking on not having to retake it. A lot of leaps of faith going on.

I'm trying to get into the evening cohort at GWCC....

What schools are you looking to get into Pretty Fly?

My first choice is NAU. My CEP app will hopefully be submitted before winter break as long as all my grades are posted promptly. When I turned in my application to Maricopa Nursing my 1-3 were Phoenix, GCC, and Gateway. Really hoping for a summer NAU start...fingers crossed!

I am hoping for this same time frame too! Summer University start.

NAU is my first choice and then I have GCC, PVCC, and PC as my top three.

Is there a possible waiting list for NAU this summer? I am submitting my application as soon as my grades are in as well, though I thought it was a definite summer start.

There isn't necessarily a wait list, from speaking with NAU at a CEP information session. The process envolves Maricopa checking applications for completion and then they send it to NAU. NAU then verifies all credits and sends it back to Maricopa stating that the application/student is okay for CEP placement with NAU.

However, my advisor stated that last semester they had more CEP applicants than CEP positions, so some applicants were not accepted into the program.

At this point I would send official transcripts to the top schools of your choice, this will make maricopa verification easier to submit to NAU. If filling out FASFA for 2017 add NAU and any other potential schools for which you may have requested . These little steps help with the enrollment process.

I will be applying at the end of December or early January once my grades from this semester are posted! My first choice is GWCC/NAU. I met with an NAU advisor and she said I should be able to start at NAU in the summer and at Maricopa in the fall. Hoping it all works out. I'm so anxious to get started!!
