Hey everyone! I know we're a few weeks out til applications are accepted, but I figured I'd kick this off sooner than later. Who's applying for the CEP program next month?
They pushed the application dates back due to the COVID 19. Are you guys having any trouble talking to an advisor?
Where are you guys going to apply?
GPA?
HESI scores?
Overall points?
I'm applying to EMCC first choice, GCC second choice, and PCC third choice with ASU.
I submitted with Gateway too so maybe that they are just sending them out differently? I did submit the application towards the end of the intake period as well so I am sure they are busy. I tried to email asking for the timestamp confirmation, in case they just missed sending it to me, but still did not hear back yet. Hopefully soon!

Looking through previous threads, historically your scores are great. You shouldn’t have a problem getting in. I have work throughout the week, so I only applied to the GWCC night and GCU online. My grades and test scores are not as good as yours, but this is my second career and I have extra degree points coming my way. ??Good Luck to all.

The advisor from Ottawa determined my score. I had figured it on my own and it was pretty much the same. If you look on the Maricopa CEP site they have an Admission Check List you can print out and figure your score as well.

Thank you. I sent an email today to both EMCC and EMCC/GCU advisors. I also sent an email to the Maricopa/Ottawa CEP email to get in contact with someone from Ottawa. I want to see if they will accept Portage Learning's(accredited by Geneva College) Pathophysiology course, and if it can be credited towards HCR240 before I take it. I just want to finish everything for the December intake. My original plan was to apply for EMCC/GCU but I didn't know GCU doesn't do the financial aid consortium agreement, which is why I am kind of leaning towards Ottawa because the prerequisites are similar. Do you know if its the universities who are deciding which course will be credited or is it the Maricopa colleges?
You are welcome! Did you transfer the course you mentioned to one of the Maricopa colleges? If it transferred, I can only assume that the university will take it as well. I am basing this on some of my transfer classes that were accepted by Mesa and Ottawa. I'll bet that you get your answers from the advisors when you speak with them. Sometimes it takes a few days to hear back. They are probably extra busy right now with the current intake period applications. I have appreciated the Ottawa advisor and how supportive she has been. I think that we need all of the support that we can get through nursing school!
