March 26 start

Nursing Students Ohio University

Anyone else planning on starting the program on March 26? I just got off the phone with admissions and they have my transcripts. After my info as been through "two checkpoints," I'm supposed to receive a welcome packet in late February. I'm excited and nervous at the same time!

I keep my papers short, simple and to the point so I have a hard time meeting the page requirement. I would rather do a quiz too than to write a paper any day. Why say something in ten sentences that can be well stated in two?

I have decided to take the summer off and spend it with my kids then restart in the fall. They are only little once and I want to spend it stress free with them.

I know what you mean. I'm taking the summer off too. I'm not going to spend my entire summer writing papers every week. It's going to take me longer to get this BSN but that's okay!

I turned my paper in 12 AM on the dot! I hope that's not too late! But on the Epic page it said the assignment was due 12:59 AM! I don't know what to believe!

I think you will be fine.

Specializes in ICU, step down, dialysis.

Yikes, is it just me or does this last week seem really heavy, assignment wise? I just realized earlier this evening (from reading the announcements, which I didn't check yesterday), that everything has to be done by Saturday morning, now I'm scrambling to get this done!! :( Oh well, at least after this we all will be done with this class! :yelclap::cheers:

Don't forget there is a discussion post due tonight as well!! I almost missed that one, I still have to do it though. But yeah, it does seem extra heavy this week.

So I think I am going to take 1 1o week arts course for the summer. I need to do the arts elective anyways, and I really don't want to take the entire time off when I'm just getting started. I emailed the professor, and he said they would let me do the discussion post that is normally due at the end a few days early to accommodate my C section.

Which art class will you be taking? I think i am registered for intro to arts and the good news it is only 8 weeks.

Done with module 5. Hopefully I can keep my A, but writing this last essay was like pulling teeth. I'm hoping there are more discussion posts in the rest of the nursing courses, and less essays. Overall id have to say that it has been just about a difficult as I expected.

On a side note, I read about 1/8th of the assigned readings. Skimmed through the rest.

Is it only 8 weeks? I just was figuring 10, since they normally are. I forgot though, with the overlap, it shortens it. Yes, that is the class.. intro to arts: arts in context.

I am having a little problem with the reference for the Institute of medicine article. I cant seem to figure it out:confused:. Not sure if its a journal and if so there are no numbers for the issue etc.

I referenced it as a report from an organization, no issue numbers needed. So it's just Institute of Medicine. (date). Title of report. Retrieved from http//www.url.com, but please check formatting, I think this is correct way to do it. I'm really tired right now and I'm just going off the top of my head.

Thanks Evieinco. So what about the authors?

Ah...the authors..see I told ya I was tired. Then cite it as (I looked there are 10 authors) the first seven authors....tenth author. (date). Title goes here. Retrieved from http//www.url.com

Hope that helps! Told ya I was tired, I have to fix my citation to include the authors.
