March 2012 CHLA RN Residency Program

Hey everyone,

is anyone applying for March 2012 RN residency program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles??

Specializes in ICU, ED, PICC.

UCLA didn't even look at my stuff, I know it. I sent my application in on a Friday and I got my denial on Monday morning. Its probably because I'm not from the LA area. I wish they would have said something so I didn't have to waste my time. (Sorry, a little bitter towards them)

Hi There!

I was wondering if anyone got a confirmation from HR that their application packet had arrived at CHLA?

I am wondering if my packet made it because the return slip that I requested never arrived back to me:(

I called HR to ask them a different question and the recorded message said they will not confirm receipt of the packet as they had so many applicants.

Hey tashacorinne,

For ucla, it's better if you apply the first day applications open. Hospitals that advertise their new grad program get so many applicants I think they only look at the earliest applicants. That's why I wonder if it's the same with CHLA too because so many people apply :/.

Also, bringnthemoney.... I also called HR a few weeks ago asking if they'd be able to confirm if they received the packet, they told me the same thing ... That there's too many applicants to do that.

the CHLA packet indicated they'd be contacting people for interviews mid-oct. has anyone heard back?

The due date was October 14, so I'm guessing that they are going to start contacting people this week.

The nurse recruiter old me it'd take about 2 weeks after the packet deadline until they start calling people since they have to go through so many applications/packets

Just called, nurse recruiter said they won't be calling until first week of November
