MANE Fall 2019 Applicants

Hey, I wanted to get a thread going for MANE program applicants for fall of 2019 to see what competitive level we are at this year. My TEAS score was 85.3 and my GPA is a 3.5 giving me a combined score of 12.3. I just submitted applications to Inver Hills (my home school), Metro State and Century college. I would love to stay at Inver since it is 10 minutes from my house, but will be pleased with any acceptance letters!! Let me know, it would be fun to figure out where the averages on scores are!!

I agree! I would love to get in this time, but I am also happy knowing I have made it this far. I will be sending positive vibes out there for all of us on the waitlist!

Well, after much thinking and reading the last couple of posts... I am going to decline my seat at Century and at Metro. The woman over at Inver said they still have not recieved any declines yet but I am hopeful being #1 on the waitlist and as many of you said if we dont get in this time around January is right around the corner!!!

Well my gf just text me a few hours ago saying she finally got her acceptance into Century today and that she is finally mailing off her decline for inver! She was holding onto it until she got word from century! ? I don’t blame her!

I’m sure you will get in. I have a friend that is declining her spot at Inver. She was also holding off until she got her letter from Century. I’m sure people will be getting off the waitlist next week. Thanks again for starting this forum for us, it has helped a lot to have people to wait with!

Anyone here declining his/her seat at Normandale. Waitlisted at Normandale and Inver Hills only two schools I have applied.

Call the school. A friend of mine found out her letter from Inver Hills went to her parents home. Another friend who applied to Metro found out her application was not processed. I think everyone should have received their letters from century unless you are on west coast or something.???

I’m near the twin cities, which is why I started to worry. I tried calling today but didn’t get a response, I’ll try again Monday. Thanks !

I just received my letter from Century today ( I am currently living in California). After reading the previous posts with everyones scores I was surprised I was put on the waitlist. I was working with the counselor Star Poindexter ( she left Century last year) who helped me figure out how to transfer courses and she complied my composite score of 11.87. I don't understand how I'm wait listed. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Also in the letter it states, they would like to reconsider my application for program admission, placing me on a temporary wait list....Is this the waitlist we would find out about the order after the 10th of April? Thank you everyone for all the updated information throughout these past two weeks. Its been stressful waiting for a letter to come.
