Hey, I wanted to get a thread going for MANE program applicants for fall of 2019 to see what competitive level we are at this year. My TEAS score was 85.3 and my GPA is a 3.5 giving me a combined score of 12.3. I just submitted applications to Inver Hills (my home school), Metro State and Century college. I would love to stay at Inver since it is 10 minutes from my house, but will be pleased with any acceptance letters!! Let me know, it would be fun to figure out where the averages on scores are!!

Let me know what she says. I’m now thinking that they have set other parameters for getting accepted into the program aside from just the prerequisites grades and TEAS.

She finally responded lol, so when I applied I spoke to an advisor who helped me with putting the correct classes on the application. I wrote A&P1, communications, eng 1108 and intro to psych. All which would give me a 4.0 gpa. But when I spoke with sherry she said that they actually had to use my general biology class under the bio/chemistry section, and since I have a B in that class my gpa was brought down to a 3.75 So I didn’t make the cut. I’ll be applying again for spring 2020. Thanks for all of the info.

You are most welcome! 5 months isn't too far behind! If I don't make this cohort, I am sure I will b joining ya!
Hello Everyone!
I am new to Minneapolis. I will be moving to the city in June of this year. I was accepted to the MANE program at Normandale CC. I have taken a good portion of the prerequisite and some nursing classes like pharmacology and pathophysiology. I am only lacking about 25 credits for the program. Does anyone know what the typical weekly schedule is like for students in the nursing program at Normandale? I will still be working during school, and I'm trying to plan if I will only be able to work part time or keep 3 12-hour days.
Also, congratulations to everybody that got into the schools they applied for. I wish everybody luck! And to those that didn't keep trying! You'll get it!
For those of us on the waitlist at century college, admissions will be EMAILING us with our official waitlist numbers this week. I think it’s kind of backward the way that are doing this, but oh well. I was also able to confirm that they have a ton of appeals pending because a lot of students claim that they should have been accepted rather than placed on the waitlist. I don’t know what this means for us, but we shall see.
