Ok Live, here we go...our new home LOL!!! I'm really glad you went to the info session, i knew you would get more info actually being there. Were there other students that were on the waitlist there? What 1/3rd did jaquie say you fell in? It is good news to know that they make it through most of the waitlist! I really want you guys to get in so we can have a connection with other people...i hate walking in a class and not knowing anyone LOL. So do you have most if your prereqs completed and was manch your first choice?

called yesterday and asked about progress on the list. There has been some movement with some people giving up their seats to go to a different school. They are not through the first third yet (I figure so much since I was told I was in the first third and haven't gotten a call) Would be nice to know exactly how many people are in line and exactly what number I am. I suppose even given an exact number it can't be exact since they don't know if that person still wants the spot.

My thoughts...

I'd love to start this fall but if I don't get in I'm confident that with A&P II completed (currently have an A and only 4 more classes to go) Micro (taking over the summer) completed I'll turn that wait list spot into an acceptance for Fall of 2011. Either way...though I'd rather start this Fall. Would be nice to have a solid answer but I know that wont come until the semester starts unless they call. Freaks me out that they can call from the wait list right up until then.

I'm sure they will be filling seats till mid may. The meetings on April 30th and then we have to do the criminal background checks so that might weed a few more people out to clear up some seats for others. I wish it was April 30th already though. I want to get all the info and stuff already.

This wait has been just as difficult as the first one. I agree that it would be nice to at least know where we stand. Knowing that the list has only moved a little bit is making me nervous. I have everything planned to be able to start this fall (I'm a planner) so it will really put a wrench in that if I don't get off this wait list :( I don't have any other classes to take to fill my time until next year. I wonder if I retake A&P2 if financial aid would cover it...does anyone know how retakes work?

No jumping around yet?

Hey, hows everyone holding up...i havent been getting updates from this site for some reason so i didnt even know there was activity in our forum!! Sorry things arnt moving along quicker live and Julie. I guess no one fully understands thier process...im still confused!! Things must be different this year from past years...i was under the impression they told you what place you were. Well good luck Im still wishing for you guys!

LngbrdngOtr - I agree, I wish it was april 30th already...i feel an intense urge to know what the hell we need! I need a book list!! I also noticed that several books are coming out with new editions this summer, so some arnt even available yet. Do you know if we need to have money in hand to buy anyhting that day...like scrubs? Any info you have would be helpful Thanks!

I dont think we'll need any money on the 30th. Every time I go in to ask about anything at admissions though I get attitude followed by being told to wait till the orientation. The ladies in the book store told me that we bought all our books in the fall though (This was a couple weeks ago). But it seems like they order all the books we need in fall then we have to go in and buy them. I'm hoping I we can just get a list though because I'ld rather save myself $600 and buy them on Amazon or Ebay.

this is the newest book list i could find...so im sure most will be used this year unless some update thier editions.

Hey you guys should check out the last few pages of the Manchester NHCTC post (its first in the list on the nh page) I have been talking to people who have gone through the program and they have been giving awesome advice!

Do you have a link to the site? :)

https://allnurses.com/new-hampshire-nurses/nhctc-manchester-279780.html... the post starts two years ago so you may want to skip to the end! :)

doh! Danielle it looks like we were posting at the same time.

Also did I read somewhere that you plan on taking Micro over the summer? If so where and what class. I'm also planning on taking Micro over the summer.
