Ok Live, here we go...our new home LOL!!! I'm really glad you went to the info session, i knew you would get more info actually being there. Were there other students that were on the waitlist there? What 1/3rd did jaquie say you fell in? It is good news to know that they make it through most of the waitlist! I really want you guys to get in so we can have a connection with other people...i hate walking in a class and not knowing anyone LOL. So do you have most if your prereqs completed and was manch your first choice?

yay! A home of our own. I didn't want to say but since you ask...she said the top 1/3rd. I'm not going to hold my breath but as I've said before I'm staying positive!
As far as walking into class and not knowing anyone..with a group of only 64 and being on this board it wont be long before you know everyone in the class.

Live, Thank you again for sharing the information you received today. Julie
Julie did you hear back from Jacquie yet?
First off...I need your names :) I can't keep calling you Live..lol
I haven't heard from Jacquie yet. I hesitate to email her again because I bugged her so much during the application process I don't want to be a pest. Do you think I should email her again?
Julie
Heres a little back ground LOL...My name is Danielle, I am a 26 year old stay at home mother of 2from Hudson NH! They are 2 and 4 yikes! I think i started school in chicago in 2005 for pathology, I was elected student trustee of the college. Needless to say life happened and we moved back home(NH) got married and had kids. In the past few years i have picked off gen eds...my goal is to take the long route to my ARNP. I was ready to apply last year however, when i got my NLN scores...I had only scored a 49 on verbal!!!! So I could't apply... i took the test again in 6 months and did much much better thank goodness...so here I am. It's been a long road but I am thrilled to be here and I really can't wait to get things going. September seems so far away!
Julie, you might want to wait to email her back, she usually writes right back and the fact that she hasn't i think may mean she's not going to. I think you would fall in the top 1/3 with Live. The 26 is our deadline to get the deposit in, thats in one week, so i really think you will get your calls starting after then, because im sure a good half of the students accepted will be going some where else.
I agree with Danielle, let it be for now. I imagine she's being bombarded with calls and emails from those admitted, on the wait list and those denied. We'll know soon enough (well not really soon enough but you get what I'm trying to say) :) just stay positive.
Jen
I agree...I'm going to wait until I email again. I do feel extremely positive though :)
My stats are...38 yrs old...Mother of 2 (ages 14 and 10). I went to college MANY years ago for accounting but then as you say life happens and I got married. Now divorced I have a wonderful man in my life who encouraged me to follow my dreams and made me realize that I can do it. I'm excited for the coming few years.

Hi everyone.
Got accepted to the nursing program. I completely overlooked that $100 deposit by the 26th on the piece of paper so thanks DCoffill for mentioning it. Kinda wish the meeting was sooner, April 30th seems like a long ways away. I'll have all my other classes completed at the end of this semester with the exception of the nursing classes and the Student Success Seminar thing.
welcome LngbrdngOtr, congrats on being accepted!
Welcome!
Welcome LngbrdngOtr. It's good to see someone wlse from Manchester on here! You better call and pay your deposit you only have 4 days!! LOL, I was waiting at the school the monday after i got my acceptance letter. She was like you could have just called with your payment hehehe. The 30th does seem forever away not to mention classes dont start till September!! I am excited and would like to get things rolling! You can take the success seminar online, and it's only one credit...it's actually kinda dumb. Do you currently go to Manchester? I went to school in Chicago and they didn't require you to take a class like that so when i got to manchester they just granted me the one credit without taking it. Well nice to "meet" you seeing as we will be together for the next 2 years! :)
