Ok Live, here we go...our new home LOL!!! I'm really glad you went to the info session, i knew you would get more info actually being there. Were there other students that were on the waitlist there? What 1/3rd did jaquie say you fell in? It is good news to know that they make it through most of the waitlist! I really want you guys to get in so we can have a connection with other people...i hate walking in a class and not knowing anyone LOL. So do you have most if your prereqs completed and was manch your first choice?

oh and Jen whens your clinical and lab?

Congrats Jen! I heard from Sarah this morning. I was so happy for you I got chills!! I'd like to know when your lab/clinicals are too :)

My clinicals are T/W second half of the term. I know that means I'll be busy come finals but I think I'll enjoy not having to jump right into everything at once. I only have a week to get everything together. Thankfully I've already gotten all the vaccinations so it's just finding the books, white sneakers and a few other things. It still hasn't sunken in yet that I'm in.

Jen, My clinicals are second half days at Green Brier and my lab is Thursday at 130. At the BBQ seniors said the work load is very heavy thru boths halfs, it didnt matter when you had clinicals. The few that said there was a difference said that it is better to take clinicals second half because its easy to maintain higher grades if you do very well in the begining but dont do so well towards the end, then to start of not doing so well and try to bring the grade up towards the end. So if that makes any sense, they say your grade takes less of a hit if you start strong and then mess up a little at the end rather then try to bring a bad grade up towards the end.

Heres some craigslist link of some books, they really said the older editions were fine. http://nh.craigslist.org/bks/1862098364.html, http://nh.craigslist.org/bks/1874868661.html.

Let me know if you have my same clinical and lab! Good Luck!

Jen,

Do you know where your clinicals are yet? And any thoughts on a good watch?

Julie
