Ok Live, here we go...our new home LOL!!! I'm really glad you went to the info session, i knew you would get more info actually being there. Were there other students that were on the waitlist there? What 1/3rd did jaquie say you fell in? It is good news to know that they make it through most of the waitlist! I really want you guys to get in so we can have a connection with other people...i hate walking in a class and not knowing anyone LOL. So do you have most if your prereqs completed and was manch your first choice?

Yes, they invited me to join you and the other person who just got in so that I will know what to do when I get in. They did preface the invitation by saying there is no way to know what will happen but they want me to know what to do should a spot open up.

i wish I could remember the girls name so you could ask about her. You could atleast ask if anyone has dropped due to moving to Florida. I will send an email to the girl i met at the BBQ and ask if she had reminded her friend to call in. Very exciting for you guys...I will be very happy to see you both all the way thru!! Good Luck!

Has anyone purchased the study guides for Pharmacology for Nurses: A Pathophysiologic Approach and the one that goes with the Med-Surg textbook? I thought the Med-Surg packet came with the study guide but I didn't get it...and as far as shoes..what are your thoughts on that.

I'm just using the second edition pharmacology book, at the BBQ the instructors were selling everyones older edition books from the last two years. If the instructors were selling them they really must not care if they are slightly outdated.

I havent gotten the new med surg pack but I was under the impression that it did come with the study guide, might me worth asking someone at the book store.

I got the all white scketcher sports...they are clunky and ugly, but they meet all the requirments.

I've looked at the book list online and my thoughts on the medsurg pack is that it includes the two text books and an access code for something online. The workbook looks to be seperate. Nothing as of yet on my status but I'm hoping to hear something this week. I'll let you know when I know.
