Hey there! Is anyone here applying for Malcolm X ADN (nursing) program for Spring 2021? I am a bit nervous. My GPA is 3.0 and I am taking the TEAS soon and hopefully scoring >90 overall. How likely is it to get admitted? Has anyone been admitted with lower stats before? Thanks!

So anxious!
Today they told me mid December they start sending emails of acceptance!! Good luck ?

Hi. I'm curious as to who told you that. When I attended the Zoom info session, with the nursing department, I specifically asked when we would receive notification and the exact words were, "right away -- within 2 weeks or earlier (of the deadline)."
I assume they want people to enroll and pay for their classes ASAP. Enrollment for Spring has already started for everyone else. It really doesn't make sense that they would wait until mid December, right?
In addition, people need to know as soon as possible so that they can make alternative plans, if needed, for the same semester, if possible. Tbh, I think the information I received is probably accurate and that's good news!

Per ----------------------, it might be 2 weeks afger the deadline. I attended one of their nursing sessions.

I agree. That's what I also learned from the session.

I hear ya. That's interesting.
You said that they told you it was mid December though. Who told you that? Your regular advisor or the nursing dept.?

Wow. Weird. Still, she's in admissions and not the nursing dept.
