I only studied for 3 days, I've got a newborn and didn't get much sleep last night. I was extremely worried. I spend 1h22mins on the exam and scored 82.7% overall and 85.1% in reading. Science sucked, it was my lowest at 74.5%. I'm glad I made up for it in other areas.

All I have to do is submit the rest of my medical forms today and cross my fingers!

IDK much about this school, but I don't think u can get in with a 3.0, my friend had a 3.8 GPA and all schools kept rejecting him.

People have gotten in with a 2.75 though... anyways I got a 97% on my Reading TEAS which is what they look at as well. Spread hope not discouragement. Much love

I checked the school and its in chicago..maybe different states?? Cause the schools my friend applied to are located in california only. Not trying to discourage, just being realistic, anyways diff states so good luck.!

I got an 81% overall bc I bombed the science portion lols but I got a 97% in math and an 82% on English

It is not just CCC they calculate all GPAs

Where did you get this information? I spoke with my advisor yesterday and he stated that they look at all transcripts, but the GPA requirement is only based off of CCC. Did someone from the nursing program tell you this?

---------------------- from the program told me this week. Thats why in the application they ask for previous transcripts as well.

The packet they sent out to applicants states:

” SubmitofficialhighschoolorGEDtranscriptstotheOfficeoftheRegistraratMalcolmXCollege.If you previously submitted your high school or GED transcripts to another City Colleges of Chicago campus, you must still submit a copy to Malcolm X College. Additionally, if you possess an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or terminal degree (I.e. PHD), you are still required to submit your official high school or GED transcripts to Malcolm X College.”

Yeah I have that packet, that doesn't say anything about the GPA tho, I just asked my friend who's in the program and she said they used hers from CCC and from her old bachelors, who knows tho I get different information from everyone.
