Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker here!

I made a promise to myself. The only way that I will ever make an Allnurses account, is when I apply to nursing school. Well, that time has finally arrived, and I just finished submitting my application to the City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing. I clicked on that submit button like a boss!

It was very disorganized. I get that it's new and they are getting it together but just as they are busy we are too. It is unfair to us that they have no answers and yet look at us like we are stupid when we ask questions. Lol

Hopefully they will let us know when we are able to register and not wait in the last minute.

I know they closed all classes to prevent anyone else from enrolling, but who was lucky enough to actually get a seat in class? I saw about 8-11 students registered in classes. I couldn't, my major hasn't changed yet.

I seen people register too & I just checked & my major still hasnt changed either. I have the hold on my account for the high school transcript, so hope it switch over soon.

I couldn't register either. I turned in my unofficial HS transcripts before 7/15 and had the hold on my account. I turned in my official transcripts on 8/2 and the hold is gone but my program still hasn't changed. This whole thing has been so disorganized.

One of the instructors for the clinical did say she was still working on the scheduling for clinicals so any one that has registered will be dropped and they have to register with everyone else when it is open.

For those of us that turned in our HS transcripts, CNA/BNA certificate, and went through the castle branch background check has any ones major changed on the student portal? Mine hasn't!!!!!!!! I just need reassurance that they fix this mess and it won't be on us

I turned in everything (transcripts, background, BNA/CNA, Physical, Drug test, completed all 7 pre & co-reqs & CPR card) & my academic plan has not changed. However, I am almost sure it has not changed because I attended summer classes and final grades have not been entered yet. They will be put in this weekend and hopefully by Monday, things will be adjusted.

I've turned in everything and my academic plan HAS changed. It was changed before the orientation started. Although my academic plan changed I still was unable to register in a Nursing 101 course. I've been trying everyday since last week but I also been bugging them about every little thing since the situation with my denial letter. I emailed my advisor and asked her to change my academic plan once i received my acceptance letter and she forward the email to someone in charge of the nursing program. I see I'm not the only one that had problems with the registrars office.

Checked the registration schedule and all classes are closed except one lecture n one lab. I really didn't want that professor. I am unable to register though. I was wondering if they r scheduling people. I thought we had that option once they tell us if we r morning or evening. So frustrating.
