Hello everyone! I wanted to start this thread for those of us applying to the Malcolm X College ADN Program for Spring 2026. This can be a place where we share updates on applications and requirements, ask questions, exchange information, and support each other along the way. What do you think is keeping it at "in progress"? Because by now it should be Viable Candidate. This is my second time of applying, I got Viable Candidate on the deadline day of Fall 2025. It later turned to Director Denial.

Im pretty sure it is because I took my TEAS exam late! I had all my medical documentation completed since the beginning of the application along with the other requirements. They told me on Tuesday that they have started to review applications that have everything completed, so as soon as I passed my TEAS, it changed to in progress. On Friday they told me I will be considered too, but I know the TEAS late is a con. 😞

 Keep the hope alive, Malcolm X nursing worth waiting for. Besides, have you passed your TEAS?

yeah, fingers crossed. Yes, I passed my TEAS, and everything complete.

Yes, I got denied because I passed my TEAS on the last day. The program is highly competitive.

Yeah, that's why I think that would be a con for me. But I will not loose my faith 🙂
