Malcolm X -City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing- Spring 2023

Anyone applying for Malcolm X College for Spring 2023? Figured I'd start a discussion. I applied to the RN program and am waiting for them to update my cumulative GPA, background check, and medical document submission. 

Today’s session was sold out but if you receive new info let us know.

Ah OK I see that now, thanks. From previous forums they received their letter around December 7th.

I seen them forums too. The zoom link was not working. So I zoomed admissions and they said they’ll be sending offer letters next week so check your portals throughout  then

The meeting ID wasn’t working at all. I guess it’s a tech issue.

I checked my portal. I applied to both RN AND LPN . My LPN application has changed to complete for the documents and reads “Viable Candidate”. RN status still says incomplete. I really wanted to be accepted for RN but I’ll take LPN too. Hopefully that’s not a determinant and I get offered a seat for RN and LPN. And that way I can choose.

Has anyone noticed that the nursing fundamentals classes are all closed sections now? I hope that isn’t a indicator of anything

I noticed that too, but guessing it’s just their way of making sure no one registers yet? I’ve been keeping an eye on it, and it went from Waitlist with 9999 spots open to closed. So assuming it’s an admin thing

Right from waitlist to closed . I’m just tired of waiting at this point . I’ll hope by Thursday we get a decision on our applications

I saw that too ?. I’m hoping they update it soon. Two people I know have their status update to viable candidate
