Malcolm X -City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing- Spring 2023

Anyone applying for Malcolm X College for Spring 2023? Figured I'd start a discussion. I applied to the RN program and am waiting for them to update my cumulative GPA, background check, and medical document submission. 

Does anyone have all their documents changed to completed?

No, I contacted castle branch to make sure I was under the correct program for Malcom x because I did apply last semester as well to the RN program but this time I applied to the PN program. Everything else is marked as complete except my medical documents and background check.

I called castlebranch too but there’s nothing they can do on their end.

I figured as much, I just wanted to make sure I did everything correctly on my part LOL. I guess we just have to wait and see now.

nope, I still don't. Deadline is Sunday and I'm wondering when will they update? Did yours change?

my medical and background check still say incomplete under selective application for both programs and they also say in progress.

Mine does too for both programs as well. Well deadline was yesterday so I’m hoping we know something by Friday or do you think before Thanksgiving?

Yeah I think most of us our medical documents and background show incomplete. I believe we need to know soon since classes start on 1/17.

Yeah I really hope we know something before the end of the month at the latest. I wonder how many applicants did they have this semester
