Malcolm X -City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing- Spring 2023

Anyone applying for Malcolm X College for Spring 2023? Figured I'd start a discussion. I applied to the RN program and am waiting for them to update my cumulative GPA, background check, and medical document submission.

No update yet.  I have a feeling they are going to wait after fall semester classes ends December 15 2022 to start sending out letters.

I have the same feeling as well. But I’ve been reading in past forums they sent out letters the first week of December . Between now and the 15th I guess. It’s just nerve wrecking because I’ve also applied to other programs.

I had to write a concession letter and today they sent me an email saying they’ve received it and I should be getting a decision letter by the end of this week.

Good luck everyone ! My fingers and toes are crossed we get in. I talked to advising and they said we should be hearing something back really soon as well. I’m so anxious.

Hi everyone ! Check your student portal, My background check and medical documents has changed to Completed! and the Status on the left show (Viable Candidate) but Im not sure what is that mean. Good luck for everyone to get in together.

No update on my account yet. They are having another info session today so I will be joining to ask what’s the hold up
