Everybody knows that networking and making connections while in school can be incredibly beneficial to one's future employment prospects.
I would love to hear your success stories, tips, and advice on how to make meaningful professional connections in nursing. What worked for you? What do you wish you did differently? What are the unusual or creative ways you came up with to better network?
Thanks!

When I'm in clinical I get to know management, charge nurses, and employees. I also keep in contact with instructors. Most importantly, I make my goals known to everyone I meet. You never know who is willing to help. That's how I got my CNA job at my med surg clinical site. Now I have a guaranteed job upon passing NCLEX

I work for several doctors for the last 13 years and have been told by them "Don't worry about getting a job. Just let us know what department you are interviewing with and we'll have a talk with them." Not sure if it is right but I have been good to them and they want to make sure I am taken care of.
That's called networking
Thanks for sharing, guys!
