Specializes in MICU.

Weird. And ick.

I looked at the other items the seller had up... I like the value set of the matching pitcher, tumbler, and wash basin. Classy!

I'm going to go find some old underwear to sell on ebay, because now I TRULY believe you can sell ANYTHING!!! :rotfl:

(Do you think the urinal will be featured in one of those annoying ebay "it" commercials?? Maybe we should send a petition in or something...)

Peace

Sharon

Specializes in ER, NICU, NSY and some other stuff.

I have actually seen USED undies for sell on ebay. Some dude was selling his wife's used thongs.

Another interesting one I saw was the gals that are selling empty boxes that they will deliver. What they are actually selling is a "date" but since ebay will not let you sell that online they sell the box. You have to pay for transportation, dinner......and what ever else.

Specializes in OB, M/S, HH, Medical Imaging RN.

How would she manage to get so many urinals and other supplies out of the hospital. I would think she would have to work in CS "if" she were stealing these things. $3.75 shipping to my area for a total of $4.74 That's got to be way cheaper than what the patients pay!!!! I'm glad I don't need one either way!

How do you steal all those urinals :lol2: that would be something very embarrassing to get fired for :lol2:

I used to give away a few extra new urinals at my old job because the man was a frequent flyer. He wanted to save his washed out urinal to give to his brother who was wheel chair bound.

This is too funny!

Specializes in tele, stepdown/PCU, med/surg.

anyone who sells urinals and specimen cups on ebay has issues. Of course not as many issues as the person who buys the stuff!

If I ever need that stuff for home care or something, I would get it from a medical supply store. It's just that I have to live with what I do in this world :).

Specializes in Med/Surg, Nurse Educator..

:imbar Stealing???? nice to be rich hah!!!

That's different.:stone

Years ago, my stepdad worked for a medical supply company. If the packaging of a case was damaged, they discarded the entire case, even if the products inside were undamaged. The company allowed employees to bring home supplies they could not ship because of the damage...bandages, tape, wash basins, pitchers...I don't recall him bringing home urinals although he once brought home some peri-pads.
