Macomb Community College 2017

Hello,

I'm new to this site and I plan on applying for Macomb's nursing program Feb, 2017!

I would love to hear from anyone else applying. I'm very nervous and excited.

I'm scared now too. I had 4.0 GPA but an 84 HESI. But it is an average so it is possible there was an 84 hesi in there.... just a couple more weeks and we should be hearing something about it!

You have a 4.0 you have nothing to worry about you'll defiantly get it!

It all goes by ranking. It's saying that this person had a ranking score of 86/87.

I saw something that people were saying they figure the ranking out by multiplying your GPA by 25 then divide by 2. You then take your HESI and divide that by 2. Then take those two numbers and add them, and that is ur ranking number- so that would have me at like 92 I believe. I'm not sure if this is how they figure it but I have seen this equation a lot on other posts.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with being accepted, but "Nursing" is showing up on my Academic Profile - Program Plan. Anybody else have this?

No that unfortunately doesn't have anything to do with being accepted. It's just a general guide to show you your progress in your anticipated program. My program plan has had this before the deadline to apply to the program.

Has anyone received any correspondence from MCC yet?? Hoping to get something from them soon- I can't stand the wait anymore í ½í¸«í ¾í´ž

I just called they said the latest they can send the letters out is may 15th :(
