Macomb Community College 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

I'm new to this site and I plan on applying for Macomb's nursing program Feb, 2017!

I would love to hear from anyone else applying. I'm very nervous and excited.

Does any one have any tips or study tools for the HESI? I take it Dec 19th.

I am also applying and take my HESI this month. I'm so nervous

I just took the HESI yesterday. Today, I applied to the2017 nursing program through Macomb. I received a 4.0 GPA and a 93% on the HESI. The HESI is not too difficult so don't panic. If you study the EVOLVE book, it covers most of the information needed. Good Luck!

Wow! Good job! You should definitely get accepted! I've been studying and doing the practice tests on Evolve websites. I'm hoping to get a 90% or better!

Thank you! Good luck on your Hesi and hopefully I hear you passed!

I took my HESI as well. Applying with an 88% and 4.0.

Hello! Just took the Hesi today and will be applying to the program with a 3.9172 and a 92 on the Hesi. Crossing my fingers for all of us!

Hello everyone... I am taking the HESI on Wednesday. I have a 4.0 prerequisite gpa and a 3.928 cumulative gpa. I'm nervous about taking the HESI (specifically the A&P portion), but I'm trying to convince myself that it won't be terrible. Is there a calculator on the computer for the math portion of the exam? Thanks.

Hello! I just saw your message. As you already know, yes there is a calculator. Sorry I didn't see this earlier! I hope your test went well!

Hi! I am applying for the 2017 program at MCC as well. Just took my HESI today & can't believe we have to wait until April to see if we get in!

Thanks a bunch! I'm actually taking it tomorrow. I'm truly looking forward to making the HESI a distant memory. Out of curiosity, I was wondering if the prerequisite courses and HESI composite score the only things that are used to rank us.

Thanks!
