@bxcomfort... if you don't mind me asking, what are your stats? I'm applying with a 4.0 prerequisite GPA and I'm taking the HESI tomorrow. I wish you the best of luck.
Update: Today I applied to the nursing program with a 95 composite HESI score and 4.0 prerequisite GPA. I am so thankful (I promise I'm not exaggerating... I have a decent memory and love for knowledge). I wish you all the best of luck.
I took the HESI today and got a 98%. Applying with a 3.78 GPA, I got 3 A minuses and an A in the required prereqs. I hope this gets me in! I would hate to have to retake classes just to bump up from A minuses to A's.
Wow this makes me feel terrible... I got an 80.4% on HESI, and applying with a 3.92 for pre reqs.. Now I feel like I don't stand a chance with people scoring 10-15% higher.
Don't feel like that! Part of me regrets even signing up for this forum because of the doubt that creeps in from comparing my scores to others. Positive manifestation is key here! You will get in!
Eh... I'm trying here, lol. But if I didn't, it's my own fault, being a single father and working full time is hard to balance sometimes. Guess we shall see. Good luck to all.
Don't doubt yourself! You have an excellent grade point average and your HESI score isn't bad at all. Lastly, don't compare yourself with others. Just "go with the flow" and you'll be fine :).
We are ranked by the four prerequisites and the HESI Score. I heard the equation is gpax25, plus HESI score, devided in half. For example my GPA is 4.0 so 4.0*25 is 100. 100 plus my HESI score of 88 is 188, devided by two is 94. My application score is 94.
