Macomb Community College 2017

Published

Hello,

I'm new to this site and I plan on applying for Macomb's nursing program Feb, 2017!

I would love to hear from anyone else applying. I'm very nervous and excited.

What is your score?

I have a 3.64 gpa and an 87 on my hesi.

So I read in a previous post that they look to see if any of the other prerequisites have been completed. I am currently taking intro to psychology and just finished intro to nutrition. Does anyone know if they will see that I am currently getting those classes done.

You have a higher GPA and the same thing on the HESI as my friend did and she got accepted Ekw605.

Just checking to see if anyone has heard anything from counseling or advising.... I read this thread in years past it seems the first week of April letters were sent out giving your gpa and Hesi scores.

My friends acceptance letter was dated April 19th last year.

I went to talk to an advisor. She told me the bottom 5 accepted had a gpa of 3.48. The lowest hesi was 85.4. For the past few years the scores for the students applying have gone down. Hope this helps some people. I'm still very nervous and I can't wait to find out

Did they say that was an average for the lowest 5% accepted?? I'm so nervous í ½í¸© I just want to have an answer already-this wait it killing me.

She said it was the average of the last 5 students accepted. Not including anyone that was put on the wait list

Good to know!! When I called yesterday they wouldn't give me really any info at all.

Does this mean I wasn't accepted into the bottom 5 then? :( I had a 3.78 gpa but HESI score of 84..
