Macomb Community College 2017

Hello,

I'm new to this site and I plan on applying for Macomb's nursing program Feb, 2017!

I would love to hear from anyone else applying. I'm very nervous and excited.

R u sure cuz last year their letter they got with the gpa and hesi scores, said that the would being ranking on April 19 and they received their acceptance/denial letters but April 22. So y would it take so much longer this year.

I Spoke with someone in the enrollment office at Center Campus and she told me that the acceptance/denial letters were mailed out yesterday on the 25th. I applied with a 3.5710 Gpa and a 87 Hesi. NERVOUS and EXCITED but Confident.

Letters went out on the 25th Tuesday. The day after ranking was complete.

No English 1180 was 4 credits not 3...

Should get it by tomorrow if it was mailed out yesterday.

I had English-1210, sorry. That one was worth only 3 credits I believe as I had transfer equalency from OCC. So if you had ENGL-1180 then you would have 15.5 total required credits for admission to determine overall GPA for the pre-requisites.

Well that is so exciting! So hopefully when I get home from classes tomorrow afternoon there will be something good in the mailbox. OMG, keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Not sure, just repeated what Karen at the records and registration office told me. That was their plan. It appears that the letters went out yesterday according to some of the other people on this thread. And that there is the most exciting news I've heard all day. Hopefully I will be getting some good news by Friday.
