2011 Macomb Community College HESI and GPA scores for nursing program

I'm trying to get into the Macomb Community College Nursing program. I just took the HESI test and scored a 86.5%. I Also have a 4.0 GPA. What are my chances into getting into the program for 2011, since my HESI is still kind of low?

If anyone can relate please comment. Post scores so we can compare! Thanks for your thoughts:)

I think they may have just Sao how many ppl actually applied. But some may not have all the pre-reqs but ya idk! Lol we will have to see

Thats what I was told to nlr5939. They said all the people had finished pre-reqs so lets just wait and see. aaw22 OCC or OU?

Oakland University. I really wanted to get into MCCs because I don't want to wait a year or so to start nursing school I don't know what to do until then ya know

Just thought you might want to know that once letters are sent out, you can go to the registration office and they will tell you if you were accepted and what your ranking was. I did that last year!

Thanks Orna! I totally plan on finding out my rank right away. I'm hoping to have a shot at the August start so I can have an excuse to quit my job sooner :)

I applied to Davenports BSN program and found out two weeks ago that I was accepted. I was excited to be accepted ANYWHERE, however I really really want to go to Macomb. Their program just has the reputation established.

I hear ya! What is Davenport's program like? Is it accredited?

Ooh, that means all the letters will be out before the 22nd then:-)

How do u know when letters r sent out though?

Short of calling and asking, or waiting for it to arrive, I don't think there's a real, solid, no-doubt-about-it way of knowing. But we can guess, right? I'm guessing next week. :)

Im not to sure what it is like lol and yes it is. Every time I ask questions I get different answers and that is never good. I know it’s a new program and they have made a lot of changes so really that is all the info I have unfortunately. I just hope to get into Macomb and not have to worry.

How do u know when letters r sent out though?

Call the Nursing office. As soon as the letters were in the mail I was able to go in and get my acceptance and ranking. They gave me a copy of the letter & I was able to pay to reserve my seat. My letter came the next day in the mail. Good Luck to you all! I remember how hard it was to wait!

So we got less than a week (probably) before we find out!!! As soon as those letters start rolling let everyone know!!! Just my luck, I'll probably be at work all day and have to wait until later that day to find out.

Same here. Next week the enrollment office has weird hours too. They are not open late on Tuesday, and closed on Friday.

2-5 approx. more days people!!! If we get in we will all have to meet for drinks (or pop for all of u under 21!!) to celebrate!! :)
