2011 Macomb Community College HESI and GPA scores for nursing program

Published

I'm trying to get into the Macomb Community College Nursing program. I just took the HESI test and scored a 86.5%. I Also have a 4.0 GPA. What are my chances into getting into the program for 2011, since my HESI is still kind of low?

If anyone can relate please comment. Post scores so we can compare! Thanks for your thoughts:)

Thats interesting! Did your friend apply for one of the programs? Perhaps not all the people at the school that input this data do it the same way.

All I know is that all the programs I applied to were put there. They have been there since I put in the applications back in September or something. I definately didn't get into 3 of them and they are still there.

Under program plan, I do not have nursing listed at all. Just HHSC undeclared, Guest, and some other one. However, if I go to "My Profile" I have those 3 as well as Nursing listed on that page. Who knows what all of this means. Could be true but may not. I am borderline so I have no idea...

I am nlr5939's friend she just mentioned. And yes I did apply for the nursing program but not any others.

Thanks..I cant believe I just found this board.

Ok so my theory isn't correct then..sorry to get any one's hopes up.

Well your theory could be true...maybe I just didn't get in!

I don't mean to get anyone's hopes up, we are all just so nervous!! I can't stand the wait anymore!!

Don't worry everyone, the wait will be over before we know it. Then we will ALL be on to bigger and better things to worry about... like jumping through hoops to be ready for clinicals :-D

Not soon enough!!! :p

:) did anyone find out yet exactly how many people are ranked? Someone mentioned a number earlier but I wasn't clear on if that was the number of ranked people or applications...

This wait is excruciating! At least after we get our letters we can breathe again!
