2011 Macomb Community College HESI and GPA scores for nursing program

Published

I'm trying to get into the Macomb Community College Nursing program. I just took the HESI test and scored a 86.5%. I Also have a 4.0 GPA. What are my chances into getting into the program for 2011, since my HESI is still kind of low?

If anyone can relate please comment. Post scores so we can compare! Thanks for your thoughts:)

Hi Everyone!

I never post on here, but I got in and I had a 3.58 GPA and a 90 on the HESI! So everyone higher than that should be golden! Just wanted to let everyone know who is stuck at work, etc.

No ranking was given, I will prob not start until March but that is fine with me! See everyone at orientation!

Thanks girl; My name is Kristina too!! What day is orientation?

May 18 from 8:30-11:30am is orientation and the $100 fee is due by April 29.

My birthday is April 28th, so early birthday present to me :-)

I'm over the moon, this is my 3rd attempt at Macomb so third times a charm!

I missed it by 4. 164 out of 160 so I'm and alternate :(

Congrats, and thanks for posting! I applied with a 3.8 and 90 on the Hesi, so I think I am in!!

Was there a ranking on yours?

Hang in there, I would think at least 4 people will back out.

My letter did not have a ranking.

tt9223- I'm sure 4 people will back out or pursue other options. I wish you luck, I know the disappointment but at least you are an alternate.

I agree that 4 will choose an alternate program. A teacher told us that they were up in the 20's on the alternate list. Did they give you the option of going to the orientation? If so, be sure to go because I'm pretty sure she said that the a lot of people on the alternate list couldn't start the program when they were asked to because they didn't attend orientation.

Yay!!! I got in too! I wish our letters had our start dates...

Thanks all! And yes we too have an orientation we HAVE to go to so I WILL be there!

Congratulations to everyone who got in and to all the alternates!! :balloons:

I’m curious to know what some of the alternates scores were. Does anyone mind sharing?

I had a GPA of 3.9268 but only 83 on test. If only I did a bit better :(

Baker's spring session for nursing already started so some people that applied at Macomb have already started at Baker... I think quite a few alternates will still get in. It's not over yet... :)
