2011 Macomb Community College HESI and GPA scores for nursing program

I'm trying to get into the Macomb Community College Nursing program. I just took the HESI test and scored a 86.5%. I Also have a 4.0 GPA. What are my chances into getting into the program for 2011, since my HESI is still kind of low?

If anyone can relate please comment. Post scores so we can compare! Thanks for your thoughts:)

SO..

Some of the other selective admissions programs have sent out their letters. Yesterday, I got mine for Respiratory Therapy, along with some others OTA, PTA, and Vet tech, and I got in to Respiratory Therapy! I'm not suprised that I didn't get into the others because those three programs look at your last 12 credits, and that GPA for me is only like a 3.4.

I'm not sure how I feel about having gotten into RT. I haven't done any research on the field as I have for Nursing. I dont want to go into nursing without exploring this option too. I'll be spending my morning researching and waiting to see if I'm going to have to choose between Nursing and RT. :confused:

I got my acceptance for Respiratory Therapy also! I am reeeeally hoping that I hear about the Nursing Program soon, because there isn't much time before you have to put down the $100 to hold your spot! Ah I'm nervous! Good luck everyone!

I called office and she said they go out today or tomorrow!!! I will check in again later today!

If someone else finds out lets us know!!!

Ohhh boy here it goes!! I hope they send them out today, so tomorrow we get them. I am about ready to burst from all this pent up anxiety. As soon as anyone gets any letters, post it!

Well they letters get sent out today or tomorrow but I believe we can call the office to get our ranking if you are too anxious to wait to find out from the letter like I am!! Ahh..

I just called to ask for my ranking and they said the letters are being sent out tomorrow and I will find out that way. I hope they do it first thing in the moring so we get the letters on wed!!!

Unless they handle it differently for Nursing, I'm pretty sure that acceptance letters will not have the rank and denial/alternate letters will have the rank.

I got into Respiratory Therapy and the letter does not show my rank.

I did not make it into PTA, OTA, and Vet Tech and those letters do show my rank.

I'm pretty sure that the only way to know your rank if you are accepted is to go to the school in person with your acceptance letter and ask.

I stopped in at Enrollment on my way out of class and the man looked up everything in the computer for me but nothing has been posted yet he said. Just figured I would let everyone know..

I scored 91% on the Hesi and 3.87 GPA ..and I am dieing to find out if I got in or not I have been watching my mailbox like a hawk!..lol..I got into the RT program but that it def. my second choice!

I dk if this is true for everyone..but I just went on Webadvisor and I clicked on the "My Program Plan", Nursing and RT were both on my list...when they were not before..so I wonder if this means I did get in..any ideas if this theory is true??

OHHHH? I just went on web adviser and it listed todays date with all the requirements for the nursing program that are needed!!!!! OMG! Everyone check Web Advisor!!!

It also listed a completion date for the program of 8/2015!!

Aw man you guys are getting your hopes up for nothing :( Those have been there since they processed our applications. It doesn't mean anything.

By the way, Welcome RashaB I'm sure you will be fine with those scores!
