Ma License

How long before you received your license in the mail in Massachusetts? I passed the board exam 6weeks ago, my name is posted in BON site but I haven't received anything in the mail.

I had heard they stopped sending physical licenses, most employers do online verification.

I just renewed my MA license online, still got a physical copy in the mail about 4 weeks later. It is true that most employers check online, but I would contact BON if it doesn't come within the next two weeks. It is nice to have it in hand. Congratulations!

MA's have licenses?

MA's have licenses?

Ma is a state and has licenses like every other state in the us.

Renewal

i was told that the state is now requesting employers to check online, reason is what if your license was suspended and you hand them your paper copy. It seems like in the transition they sent you a copy but it looks like moving forward they do not Plan on sending paper out.

Lol! I thought OP was asking about Medical Assistant licenses. That's what MA usually means here. And I obviously failed to read the entire post.
