How long before you received your license in the mail in Massachusetts? I passed the board exam 6weeks ago, my name is posted in BON site but I haven't received anything in the mail.

I used Saunders 5th Edition -for contents, NCLEX RN 10,000 PrepU -for practice question, and I had private tutor. I think all of these 3 are the best combination I did. I don't think I'd succeed if I skipped one of these.

Hi Everyone, I passed the NCLEX-RN, in my 7th attempt. I want to share this with you future nurses 'cause I know I'm not the only one who lost hope, almost gave up, wanted to throw it all away and looked for another career path. I graduated from a different country and moved to United States few years ago. Man, it was hard! I've been out of school for almost 6 years before my 7th attempt. My previous attempts were all failure, I had 75 questions, 240, etc. I can't even remember the others. I gave up and just work (not as nurse) just to pay bills. Then one day, I tried again and succeed! For all of you who feels like giving up, DON'T! Just because others have done it faster, easier, or earlier than you, doesn't mean you won't get there. We all have different experiences and ways of learning. This is what I learned from my experience and from the nurses around me: It doesn't matter how many attempts who had on the board exam, when you're exposed to the field, everyone is back to zero, because you actually learn when you start working, EXPERIENCE in the field is the one that actually molds you, and teach you how to be a great nurse. -KYLIE, RN
