Western governors university has a LVN to BSN program.
OP,
I'm not completely.sure of the answer to your question but you mat be comparing academia (tecnical) to regular just academia. In other words apples to oranges.
In which case you may need the dreaded prerequsites in order to get in on the dream of nursing.
So by this line of reasoning you would have to start the 4year college experience, even if online, virtually from day one with the commensurate prerequisite obligations.
I understand you need to work but you might save yourself tens of thousands if you did those prerequisites at a community college in ground school and then seeing where you go from there.
One more thing. Stay away from any school that has "career" in its name or "institute" for that matter.
You need to do this as frugally as possible for the investment in time and money to pay-off.
However, Western Governors' program entails an extensive clinical practicum component. The clinical rotations are concurrent with the didactic (theory) portion of the program. The program takes the typical LVN several years to complete.Western governors university has a LVN to BSN program.
I looked online and I could not find any information about Western Governors University LVN to BSN program is there a link and if so would you please be so kind to include a link it would be greatly appreciated.
This program is available only for students in California, Texas, Florida, Indiana, and Utah.

Hi I'm currently an LVN and I need to continue working full time but interested in going back to school for my RN taking it slowly. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for online bridge programs and schools? I live in California, hoping anyone on here can give me some type of information about online bridge programs.
