LvN requiring Cgfns

I am a Filipino Nurse and tried to apply for NCLEX PN because i could not sit for NCLEX RN due to the concurrency issue.

After long months of waiting. I have received a letter from BVNPT that i need my transcripts evaluated by a credentialing agency such as CGFNS. I was surprised because i never have had heard that lvn needs cgfns evaluation. Does anyone have the same experience as me? And what happened after?

They are pretty quick in processing documents once CGFNS CES report is done.

For me, it took around one week or maybe less cause I don't check our mailbox everyday lol.

Hello Oasis, thank you so much for answering my question, hmm but how about CGFNS CES evaluation? How long they processed it? Im thinking if I should expedite it or not, cause additional $250 is pretty expensive lol thank you again :)

It took 15 days (after I completed the documents) before they sent my CES report to Ca BVNPT.

Hi katalinah, did you pay the additional $250 to expedite the process or just the regular $350? I hope mine will only take 15 days too like yours :) thank you.

If you are ready to take the exam take advantage of the expedited service but yeah its expensive lol $250.

When I opted to expedite my documents it took them a week to process my CES.

For normal processing time i think its about 10 weeks? Im not sure though.

No I did not get the expedited one just the $350 for the CES. :) I wasn't in a hurry so I just waited.

I have one more question guys lol sorry :D after the cgfns sent all the docs to the bvnpt, does it mean that i can automatically get the eligibility letter from them or the bvnpt will going to ask another requirements again like cases etc? Lol thanks katalinah and Osis :)

Once your documents were evaluated by CGFNS, you will get your eligibility letter from BVNPT. :) Only the Ca BON asks clinical cases. I got my eligibility letter 6 days after the CGFNS sent the CES report to the Ca BVNPT. Hope this helps. Goodluck :)
