LvN requiring Cgfns

I am a Filipino Nurse and tried to apply for NCLEX PN because i could not sit for NCLEX RN due to the concurrency issue.

After long months of waiting. I have received a letter from BVNPT that i need my transcripts evaluated by a credentialing agency such as CGFNS. I was surprised because i never have had heard that lvn needs cgfns evaluation. Does anyone have the same experience as me? And what happened after?

Hi! Did u process cgfns and ces? What's the difference between the two?

No. CES is a service of Cgfns. I processed CGFNS CES professional report.

Hi Guys,

I already registered with CGFNS and just about to print out my documents. I just wanted to know if its possible if I can sent the request for transcript to my school thru EMAIL??? or should I print and send it by mail? And also do I need to send my PH RN license to the Philippies and can I just scan and send it to the person who will process my license verification for me? Hoping for reply

Hello i have been reading your posts and these are very helpful to people like me. I am currently complying the requirements to apply for LVN while im waiting to be accepted in a nursing school to take up the deficient nursing subjects. Now my question is, one of the requirements for LVN application is," record of nursing experience." Is my BSN transcript enough or i need to have a nursing experience as well which i don't have?? Hoping to hear a reply. Thank you! ☺

How long was the process since you applied i. BVNPT until you received the eligibility?

hi everyone, I am also a Filipino trying to apply for NCLEX PN here in Ca. I'd like to ask if I already have a previous CGFNS CES report can I just use that again to apply for BVNPT? or I still needed to contact my school to send them my transcripts? I'm a little confused on the steps.

Hello everyone, I'm also a Filipino trying to apply for an LVN exam here in California, and I've heard that you'll be needing a Cgfns report to be eligible for the examination. Does it mean that I have to submit an application to both BVNPT and CGFNS? And if so, which one should i'll be applying first? Thanks and hope to hear from any of you soon.

Before I applied with the BVNPT I didn't know about the transcript evaluation thing that they just started to require last nov 2015. So what I did first was sent my application with the BVNPT then after 2 months I received a letter stating that I also need a transcript evaluation from any agency that does it to be eligible for NCLEX-PN. So what I did was, I signed up with CGFNS and now I'm just waiting for my CES report that the CGFNS will send to BVNPT. Hope this helps í ½í±

UPDATE: hi everyone! CGFNS emailed me and said they received all the requirements they need. Whew! FYI, they received my PRC validation and school transcript around 1st week of march (according to tracking # my mother gave me) they updated my status online after 2 weeks. My diploma was receive march 17th. And yesterday they email that they have it. I paid $250 to expedite yesterday and waiting what will happen next. [email protected] if u have questions.
