LVN Baptist School of Health Professions Spring2012!?

Published

Just wondering if there are any applicants starting LVN program with Baptist Health System in San Antonio for Spring 2012?!?!

I only counted 23 pre-reqs, thats 5 more than for UTHSCSA BSN. I need to go see an advisor about all this too lol

At wayland its five terms which comes out to about 1 year and 3 months. The BSN I was going to take is 15 months, about the same amount of time as wayland. But I would consider the length it take you to complete those prereqs. And I just called to confirm. They said you can have up to 9 credits remaining when applying but it cant be any math or science courses.

Oh I meant credit wise lol. They have 76 credits for prereqs

I wouldn't be able to do it because I want to start my bsn program by Fa 13 the latest and I wouldn't be able to start waylands until about fa 14.

I get it now =) Yeah, I guess I would just apply to Wayland.. I couldn't move out of San Antonio to go to any other bsn program. With Wayland not requiring a second chemistry course and done in 15 months without an ADN sounds good to me! Chem was a nightmare! Lol! Hopefully it stays that way by the time I can apply..!

Yea I know, I didn't want to move from San Antonio, didn't want to take a second chem, and i don't want to take so many prereqs and graduate later. sooo my only option is to move :/ What's great about wayland is they don't have an entrance exam either

That's music to my ears! :monkeydance:

right! It really is I was excited when they told me that....ugh the prereqs are just a turn off. So I guess my consequence is to move to a completely different city, and take an entrance exam -___-

I got the book list from spc and mannnn there are a lot of books. How many books will you need for the first semester? Many of my books will be overused in other courses.

My book list is 14 books total for the whole year, but he didn't tell me what books I need for only the 1st semester. Like its just a list for the whole year.. Booo.. lol. I went ahead and bought all of them... You excited to start? :)

Yea, same for me there's a list and majority of the books are for the whole semester. Every thing came up to 940$$ so I'm going to wait for my financial aid. I'm pretty excited, can't wait to buy my scrubs and shoes etc. Cnt wait fot clinicals!!

My books came out to like $1000 also, but I bought all of them from amazon and spent $540. So be sure and check out amazon! My financial aid isn't coming till 30 days after I've started school.. boo.. lol
