We had a meeting the other day, they said they will be limiting / reducing the number of trainees for the next batch. However, they didn't announce anything about being finished screening new applicants. You should try to call them. Even if I want to go to the Nsg Training Office to ask them, I can't coz I have a hectic sched. Duty almost everyday. Sorry.

Okay. I'll just call them today. Thanks for the info :))

what if the ppd is positive 11 cm but the chest xray is negative clear lungs, will i still be a candidate for the training program for BST? i already passed all the necessary requirements before i had the ppd and chest xray. is there anyone of you who had positive ppd but negative chest xray who was able to enrol for the 3 months training program?? i need your reply so badly plsssss

@ARMI_RN : yes they will allow you to enroll, i had a 16mm ppd but clear cxr. I'm currently in the program right now until july.

hi there. i am new here. i am a 2010 graduate and july 2010 board passer, i do not have any experience in hospital nor clinic setting yet. how can i apply in NKTI or Lung Center for their BST? can anyone help me please? thankyou.

You don't need hospital experience when applying for BST training in Lung Center.

You just have to:

1. complete the requirements,

2. go to the nursing office,

3. submit requirements,

4. pass the medical exam,

5. pay for the training.

basic requirement are all you need: resume, photocopies of prc license, IVT, BLS certificate, you will be required also for a chest x ray and ppd test. i'm not sure if there is still available slots for the next batch. try to call them first.
