Hi to all of the applicants for the upcoming Lucile Packard RN Residency program (Starting September 2016). We should be hearing back soon about moving on to the panel round of interviews. This is just a place where we can communicate and help keep each other updated. I look forward to hearing from you.
Important Dates:
May 2 - June 3: Applications reviewed
June 6 - June 10: Applicants will be notified if they are moving forward in the application process
July 18: Offers start being extended
September 12: Start date
These are the dates from their website, but looking at previous cohorts' forums and with the application period being extended this year, I have a feeling we will be hearing back a little later than the dates given above.
So to start.... has anyone's status changed?
I had my peds acute care interview on the July 27 and I recieved a call for a second interview the next day (July 28). My second interview was on July 29. They interviewed 16 of us for 8 positions. We were supposed to hear back end of last week to sometime this week (depends how fast HR processes things since they are the ones who call).
My second interview was quite brutal. I was by myself and I walked into a room of 12 people who each asked me questions. The people were all from different units (acute and ICU's), management, educators, HR people.
wow that sounds tough!! I hope you hear something soon!

Does anyone know if it's just one panel interview before offers this year? Would definitely like to know a timeline- but i know they're a bit off their original posted schedule this cohort.
