Lucile Packard RN New Grad Residency Fall 2016

Hi to all of the applicants for the upcoming Lucile Packard RN Residency program (Starting September 2016). We should be hearing back soon about moving on to the panel round of interviews. This is just a place where we can communicate and help keep each other updated. I look forward to hearing from you.

Important Dates:

May 2 - June 3: Applications reviewed

June 6 - June 10: Applicants will be notified if they are moving forward in the application process

July 18: Offers start being extended

September 12: Start date

These are the dates from their website, but looking at previous cohorts' forums and with the application period being extended this year, I have a feeling we will be hearing back a little later than the dates given above.

So to start.... has anyone's status changed?

Do you all think we will receive a notification for both interviews and rejections? Haven't heard anything yet

From past threads, they've received emails/notifications if they were rejected or moving forward. They also mentioned it takes awhile because it depends on the manager....I don't know if it'll be like that for this year. The wait is killing me though haha It's already Wednesday:'(

It does look like they send emails either way. Also seems like they send out emails to those moving forward first, and then a week or so later they send out the rejection emails to everyone else

Thanks for making this thread! My status also says submitted, and I have a feeling if no one has heard anything from them that it's going to take longer than just tomorrow to extend those emails. Good luck to everyone. :up: I've done my L&D, PP, and Peds med-surg rotations there and their teamwork is amazing, the nurses are awesome:yes:

Mine has not either. Looks like in previous years that status' did not change at all. Hoping to hear back either way this week. Trying to be patient but the wait has me sitting on the edge of my seat!

Good luck guys! I applied to the Stanford new grad residency and its the same deal. Radio silence. I hope we all hear something this week. :-)

Has anyone heard back from LPCH (whether its an interview, or rejection)? A friend of mine heard from Stanford Adult ICU and they wanted her to have the ATT, then call them back to set up an interview when a test date is finalized. No updates about LPCH tho :/

Nothing still!!!:( people keep saying we'll hear from them this week but nothing.
