Published

Hi to all of the applicants for the upcoming Lucile Packard RN Residency program (Starting September 2016). We should be hearing back soon about moving on to the panel round of interviews. This is just a place where we can communicate and help keep each other updated. I look forward to hearing from you.

Important Dates:

May 2 - June 3: Applications reviewed

June 6 - June 10: Applicants will be notified if they are moving forward in the application process

July 18: Offers start being extended

September 12: Start date

These are the dates from their website, but looking at previous cohorts' forums and with the application period being extended this year, I have a feeling we will be hearing back a little later than the dates given above.

So to start.... has anyone's status changed?

Its called New Grad RN- Bay area CA

just got an email for labor and delivery invite

Anybody else get interviews on a unit other than l&d?

I have an interview for neonatal!!

I have an interview for hematology/oncology :-)

Is it a panel interview with the mangers and other new grads? The email said 4 new grads. Does that mean "panel interview with manager/eductors for new grads" or "panel interview with manager/eductors and 4 new grads"? Lol

I didn't get through to interviews :( , but good luck to everyone who did!! You can do it!

I got an interview offer for OR today :)

DeniP,

From what I understand they interview 4 new grads at a time. I asked someone who works there now and she said that the 4 candidates get different questions asked but similar in topic.

Does anyone know how many they are interviewing for L&D and how many spots they have?

Also previous years there has been a first panel round and a 2nd interview, but on their posting it sounded like mid-July the offers would be extended so no 2nd interviews?

Good luck to all.
