  1. hired on peds heme/onc! we should connect :)
  2. hi @fredrick_desig, was wondering how your interview went!! if you were comfortable sharing any updates in regards to questions and experience- i have an interview with a pediatric floor!
  3. Interviewed with ICU/CVICU on the 30th and haven't heard back yet. I know they mentioned July 8-July 22 is the hearback time, with no differentiation between 2nd interview or direct offers during that timeframe. How did you get word for CVICU offers?
  4. Does anyone know if it's just one panel interview before offers this year? Would definitely like to know a timeline- but i know they're a bit off their original posted schedule this cohort.
  5. Congrats Madenab! I am in my first transfer semester here and so far it's been great. The campus is amazing and the student teacher ratio allows us to learn much better. For a freshman, the program is designed so you take your prereqs, 2 nursing intro courses, and some general education your first year. You'll be heading into your clinical settings your sophomore year where classes are in set schedules. The only real downside of the school is if you plan on commuting (parking sucks) and the hefty price tag. But there are university grants and fasfa which should downsize a significant part of the tuition. Sarah, congrats on graduating and passing the nclex! I was just wondering how the job hunt is going, especially in the bay area? I know it's definitely tough and competitive.
  6. where will you be commuting from? i applied to two schools, this was my first pick (although a pricy one). i do know people who have dropped out of usf's program when they find out from csu's, so if that was one of your options it definitely is do-able.
  7. i think they're a bit generous with financial aid. im from sf, so i don't plan on rooming. part time before clinicals to save money since i am done with pre reqs. my friend also got in as well, im pretty sure they are competitive! must depend on the applicant pool.
  8. I am in as well, the less than 1 year towards the master sounds ideal as a trade in for the four years!
  9. i actually emailed a counselor and they just said they were mailed out. so it wasn't a mass email. so anticipate news coming this weekend/monday. maybe later dates for those who live further from sf.
  10. got an email saying admission letting pools should be out already!! check your mailboxes!!!

  12. i applied to dominican university and got good news 2 months ago, but usf is my first choice. how about you? i actually contacted them again and they're saying the end of this week, beginning of next. the waiting continues!
  13. hi avill! i am waiting for decisions as well! they should be coming out the week of 12/5 and continuing through the week! can't wait :)
  14. Accepted to my second choice BSN program today! Now waiting for my first choice in December with fingers crossed!! Congrats fellow nursing students who were accepted, we did it! :)
