Hi, Congradulations on getting your CA license! I was wondering if you could share a little bit about how looking for a job with the public reprimand went for you? I also just recived a license with a public reprimand and am relieved that the process is over but nervous to start the job hunt. Did you disclose at interview before it was brought up? Was it an issue with HR? I'm an experienced nurse at this point and feel like I have a good resume except for this minor detail...it was a very minor mistake that happened many years ago... the thought of it haunting me for the rest of my career still daunts me! I would love to hear any insights on how it went looking for a job in CA. Cheers and congrats again!

Yea, I only applied to Critical Care and mine says "in review" and I have not been contacted, which is a total bummer as I thought I was a very competitive applicant. I know people who applied to both and were asked which they would like to interview for. I attempted to contact HR but no luck getting info except that they had finish scheduling interviews for the program. Really annoying.

If we have not received that email yet do you think it means we are out of the running?

Actually in the state of California no matter if the expungement was done correctly or not you still have to report when applying for a gov. license or running for public office. You have to report it to the Board or it will be found and you will automatically be denied for nondisclosure. Regardless of the expungement, the results will always show up on DOJ/FBI finger printing and next to the conviction it will says "dismissed". However, if you have a proper expungement you do not need to declare it on job applications and my experience is that it is not found on non-fingerprinting private company background checks.

Hey, I don't know if you ever found the answer to your question but I am in the exact same boat and still waiting to hear. applied in May and supposedly my application went to enforcement 2 weeks ago. Still not work. No idea how long it will take to hear anything and very curious. Please update here if you find any info. Thanks! Best of luck to you. I know the waiting can be really hard.

I also interviewed for PICU/CVICU. Someone I know got a phone call for an offer on CVICU. I also haven't heard anything. Keep me posted if you hear! The waiting is so hard. Fingers crossed, good luck!

Has anyone who interviewed gotten offers? If so, which units? I have heard of people receiving job offers for NICU, L and D, and CVICU....wondering if people are hearing back from other units too!

Hi There, I was wondering if you are a recent grad, or had any idea if SICU is interviewing for both June/October? I have my heart set on SICU and haven't heard anything.
