Lucile Packard New Grad RN Nurse Residency 2015

U.S.A. California

Published

I've been reading through old threads about Lucile Packard's New Grad RN Nurse Residency program but couldn't find any info or threads about 2015. The application period just closed, who else applied? What unit are you interested in working? Any past cohorts of the LPCH new grad program willing to share their experiences? Anyone have any info about the program that they can share?

Hello - I applied as well! I picked their acute care track, what about yourself? Looking forward to hearing from others that have applied!

Same here! Pedi Acute :)

I also applied as well! I believe I put PICU, pedi acute, and NICU in that order. Crossing my finger, even though I know this program is VERY competitive! Good luck to everyone :)

Acute Peds as well! Does anyone know how many spots are available for this program?

Is everyone Bay Area natives? Acute Peds experience?

Im finishing my absn at samuel merritt. I did my rotation at lpch and fell in love. I worked as a rec leader for 5 years, and did in home therapy with children with autism.

I am originally from the Santa Cruz area, but moved to Oregon in 2010 to pursue nursing school. Now trying to get back to the Bay Area!

I used to teach preschool and before that I worked as an aide for special needs kids. Basically, I have a lot of pediatric experience, but not much in a healthcare setting.

Specializes in PICU.

I applied to Peds Critical Care!

No peds experience outside of my clinical rotation (which I really enjoyed) so I know this is a stretch for me! I'm a Boston native and I returned to the city to go to nursing school but I lived in the Bay Area for two years prior to. Also applying to stanfords adult health nurse residency.

I applied too! I'm really hoping to get a call back sometime soon :)

Received a call today from HR about verification of my GPA, so it looks like we may hear something soon!
