  1. I just cancelled my interview so there's a little less competition for any of you going for 7N coronary observation unit Goodluck to everyone!
  2. Was anyone asked about salary requirements? I have no idea what their new grads start around..
  3. I was called Monday for an interview at Grossmont. I'm not internal by any means.
  4. Congrats! How soon is your interview?
  5. My status for the 10/26 one changed the next day to "under consideration".. Grossmont changed on 10/30 to "hiring department review" but neither have changed since..
  6. Kayla, $1000 is a lot. I hope they invite you back in that day for the second interview or you just wow them with the first one and they ask for your references right away :) Good luck!
  7. Looking at the sign up times for my interview it looks like there were around 10-12 spots.. so if they hire 1 or 2 of us for that one unit that's around 10%. Probably somewhat accurate. I would think each unit only has a few spots :)
  8. Hi all, I didn't even have the option of doing the sim because I had previously taken the assessment. Hopefully that's okay. My status did change to "under review" a while ago but I have not heard from them at all. Goodluck!
  9. Kayla, that is tough timing! Did they offer you the option of a phone interview for the first round? I know my interview is only supposed to be 20 minutes. Anyone know how many applications they received? Just curious :) This thread has been viewed over 16,000 times... Goodluck everyone!!
  10. ahhh I wish I knew everyone applies right away. Never applied to scripps before and completed my BSN in Boston so don't know anyone else applying. I hope I get that background check email!
  11. Was there an advantage to submitting the application right after it went up? I saw on the website that the posting would close early if too many applications were received but I was hoping so long as the application was open all submissions would be reviewed.
  12. I didn't apply right away. I finished mine on the 10th. Maybe they're going in reverse order? Are you sure it was a "background check?" That's usually part of the hiring process. I got an automated email to complete the talent assessment.
  13. "Hiring manager review".. Is that what everyone has for a status?
  14. Rejection email received yesterday (can't say I'm surprised having no pedi experience). Good luck!
  15. No peds experience outside of my clinical rotation (which I really enjoyed) so I know this is a stretch for me! I'm a Boston native and I returned to the city to go to nursing school but I lived in the Bay Area for two years prior to. Also applying to stanfords adult health nurse residency.
