Hi all!

Lucile Packard just opened their next round of applications. Just wanted to start a thread to talk about it! This is my second time applying, and it was so helpful to have support from one another. 

Are you applying/did you apply? What units are you most interested in?

I applied for PICU and Pedi Acute ?

I haven’t heard anything either! She told our group we would hear back sometime this week, so I’m guessing it can be as late as Friday until we hear back from critical care...

For critical care, did you receive an email stating that you were selected to move forward to the second round interview and now you’re awaiting to find out when that is, or have you not received anything since the panel?

We were told the same thing for Hem/Onc timeline wise so curious to see if that means offers will be sent out by Friday (interviews between now and then) or 2nd interview scheduled by this week ??‍♀️

I haven’t heard anything since the first interview for critical care.

Gotcha! Remind me if they mentioned a 2nd interview for critical care? Last round critical care had a 2nd interview but hem/onc didn’t. Maybe you won’t have one ??‍♀️ Nonetheless, praying we all hear today or ASAP because this has been a long time coming!

They didn't mention one! They just said they would let us know if "we got it" this week. But looking at past cohorts, the same verbiage was used and it meant a second interview. So I have no idea!!

Did they mention a next steps re: a second interview during your panel one?

During our panel interview, the recruiter said that we would be “notified of our application status” by this week. And you’re right about the verbiage used: we were told the same thing last cohort then BOOM — offers/rejections were sent out to Hem/Onc w/o 2nd interview whereas critical care was contacted sooner regarding a 2nd interview then offers/rejections. Maybe they’re switching it up, who knows!

Ahh, that’s what I was thinking! The waiting is the hardest part but I guess I’ll have to practice patience a little longer haha. But I’m definitely refreshing allnurses like crazy to find out updates from everyone! Hope we hear something soon! ❤️❤️

I e-mailed the recruiter yesterday but no reply yet...will keep y'all updated...have you gotten a call yet?
