Just wanted to start a thread for Stanford LPCH’s new RN residency for Spring 2020. Application opened Oct 1 and closes Nov 1.
I personally haven’t submitted mine yet, but wondering what units you are applying to. Also, if you don’t mind sharing any info about yourself or what you feel may help your app stand out (i.e. peds preceptorship, went to school in bay area) I’d appreciate it!
Hello, I got an interview at heme/onc! I got an interview on 1/17, which seems very late compared to other interviews that are taking place in the first two weeks. Do you think it’s a typo and she means 1/7? Thanks!
I think it depends on the unit. Last time for L&D, I heard they interviewed 40, 8 got second interviews, and 4 were hired.

Oh wow! Not terrible odds..and yes! Thank you so much, I interviewed for maternity yesterday. I think it went well it's just so hard to tell. The panel is so sweet but they have strong poker faces ?

Last time I think people heard back about second interviews the last day of panels for the unit. I'm interviewing for Maternity tomorrow, so hopefully we'll hear back tomorrow night!!

They have interviews for maternity next week too ? so she said end of next week most likely (unless they quickly choose some candidates this week for a second interview). There are about 60 candidates for 4 slots in maternity.
