LSU School of Nursing SPRING 2014 :-)

Hey guys...I started the LSU Fall 2013 Thread and got wait listed ... haven't heard anything back from them except that all their spots are full. So I'm getting ready to apply for their spring semester. For the rest of the folks who got wait listed with me let's get to making things happen for spring! I welcome any advice or pointers. I also went through the whole interview process, if anyone has anything to share or any questions please don't hesitate to post.

Does anyone know anything about the advising sessions? When I go to the link they gave to sign up for one, the only dates on there are from 2012...lol

No clue! But I'm giving them until Friday before I start asking questions. That's also the deadline for us to have our emails set up. Side bar.... I can't wait to meet ya!

So they gave you a deadline to have your emails set up too? I'm still waiting on a letter. I talked to dr Lopez yesterday and she said by Friday everyone should have gotten a letter. This is the reason why I'm worried mine got lost or something..

@eht90 I still haven't gotten a letter either!! I am so aggravated with this long wait. Some other friends around where I live haven't gotten their's either. I emailed the school today and they told me that they were still sending out letters. This is so confusing. I'm really starting to get worried.

I went and asked the lady who works at Student Affairs and she told me not to worry about the advising session because we don't even have one. xD

Did you guys receive your LSUHSC Computer Account (User ID) yet? Also do we need it to set up our emails? (I haven't received a single email from them) Thank you for your help!

@k.williams when I called she said everyone should know by Friday, but then they are still saying letters are being sent out? It doesn't make any sense. If we don't receive anything by Friday, I think we should go to the school on Monday and ask what is going on or the status of our application. If you don't mind me asking, what area do you stay at? I'm in the westbank and there are a few people that haven't received a letter as well.

Just reading this thread is giving me anxiety for ya'll. I hope you find out soon. I couldn't imagine waiting for a letter when some have received it weeks ago. I hope ya'll find out soon. For those accepted I'll be a Charity across the road. Maybe we can swap stories about the trenches at Handsome Willy's or something lol. Good luck to ya'll!

@k.williams i would say call dr. Cathy Lopez, the main person that is in charge of admissions, and see if she tells you the same thing she told me. Just seems so unorganized because we get different responses from different people.

Thank you so much! I was going to email the computer services department but it says by NOV 8th. I decided to wait one more day and if I don't get a email tomorrow morning I will email them too. Hope we all get what we are waiting for soon. Good luck to the people still waiting for your letters. I really think it is on the way because it seem like mails/emails are just not getting out.

I haven't heard about a email deadline tho.

@Chin05 How did you find out about the email set up? I have no clue in how to set one up. Thank you so much for mentioning it.
