  1. Good luck!
  2. Awesome that you're applying again! Hope I get to see you next fall! Physio is kicking my butt wouldn't change it for anything though. Good luck!
  3. @Kroth613 thanks for all the info! These are some very good tips.
  4. A lot a lot of info for orientation. But like they reiterated, it can be done, they all did it! We can as well let's get focused 3 years to go!
  5. Hey folks.... an awesome classmate made a Facebook page (not sure if I can put his name on here but he sent everyone an email). Here's the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/593327070733471/
  6. Just the prerequisites. If you try to do anything else the school may not accept them and you'll have to retake them. But best advice is to go to one of their information sessions and maybe set up a meeting with an advisor and they can tell you exactly what you need to do. Hope that helps, good luck!
  7. Orientation in a week! Anyone else excited? Or is it just me?
  8. I did...I guess now just wait until orientation. Have to get my physical and shots, but nothing else I can do until then lol. The folks who were waiting for letters did anyone hear anything back from the school?
  9. @yzhang27 I think we are talking about the same thing. If we haven't heard anything from them regarding our emails to notify them by November the 8th. So hopefully we here something tomorrow because I def haven't yet lol
  10. Prevention.... I don't believe in popping pills and getting cut open for every single thing. What are changes that you can suggest or do for a patient that will not only better them but myself as well.I think nurses are the face and voice of patients, I'm use to being the under dog and having to stand up for not only myself but for others, I accept any challenge with open arms.My BFF has sickle cell. Spent most of my college years making sure she was getting the best care when we had to wait for her family to get into town.
  11. No clue! But I'm giving them until Friday before I start asking questions. That's also the deadline for us to have our emails set up. Side bar.... I can't wait to meet ya!
  12. Actually there is no roll over application. You have to submit a brand new application. I had my personal statement edited and updated my work history and classes and resubmitted the application. Then the agonizing waiting period. First time I took the HESI it was a dreadful 75 or something, I worked overnight for like 3 days and my day job and after about 2 hours of sleep took it, not a brilliant idea on my end. I retook it a few months later and got a higher score. So try to change the things that you can control. I had mock interviews with my friends, even had my boss do a few with me. Good luck!
  13. @gerbz thanks! I guess that makes sense. I need to take a chill pill right?! #firstyearissues smh
  14. Do we have to wear uniforms? Random question I know...Is it too soon? Yes I am super anxious I know but orientation is just sooo far away! Lol
  15. Thanks! Lol guess we're in for the long haul
