Hello all! I wanted to put out feelers and see who was applying for LSU's 2018 CRNA program. I submitted a personal check for the supplemental application and it has not been cashed. Do they accept personal checks or should I have submitted a money order or cashier's check? They usually call for interviews after the deadline, correct? Let's keep each other posted. I would love to hear from other applicants!

Congrats to those who got it in! And to those who didn't or are wait-listed don't get discouraged. I was wait listed last year and now I'm in this time!!

Has anyone made a facebook group for class of 2021 or know how to? Would be nice to start getting to know our classmates. I am coming from out of state and am looking for recommendations for housing.

Did you have to reapply and interview again or did you ask for LSU to consider you for the next application cycle? Did you obtain your Louisiana and Mississippi nursing license for last year's cohort? I am still waiting. Patience is a virtue.

Is the Facebook group able to be found publicly? I can't pull it up and I can't message since I don't have many posts.

I just searched again and was able to find it. Several others have also found it, so I think it should be able to be viewed by the public.

Those who got accepted from out of state: how long did it take for you to get your Louisiana EN license? Did they email you or send a letter?

I am currently on the waiting list for LSU, but I am still required to obtain a Louisiana nursing license and meet all of the other requirements as if I was admitted by April 1st. I submitted all of my information on January 19th and on February 19th I received an email from the LA BON stating that I was missing one piece of information from my file. The email also stated that if I do not have my Louisiana nursing license in the next thirty days that I should contact the board. I am patiently waiting.
