LSU Care Fall 2019

Hello guys! I wanted to start this thread to see if anyone is applying for the LSU Care Fall 2019 program? Applications are due next month and I am super nervous about submitting, and was wondering if anyone was feeling the same or knew anyone who is currently in the program. :/

Does anyone know when new student information will be available?

It looks like the schedule for Fall semester is up for our class, I haven't explored much beyond that yet. It looks like everyone has that same schedule but different teachers cause there are a bunch of teachers listed for each course. Perhaps?

I talked to Mrs. Tracie and she said they will send us like a check list of things we have to do once everyone sends in the acceptance fee's and everything. So now we just wait

I was placed on the alternate list. Immediately, I went to talk to Dr. Pierce about what I can do to improve my application for next year. During our conversation, she said I am really high up on the alternate list. Has anyone heard about people denying their acceptance?

Also, did anyone apply anywhere else? I am trying to figure out what other schools people apply to. Southeastern? Nicholls? Holy Cross?

@NGOrtiz I didn't apply to any other schools in Louisiana, but in Texas. Such as Texas A&M Corpus, Texas Tech, and UTHSC SA. I'm sure you will make it through with the care program, you just need to give it a few weeks. ?

@alextaylor17I’m from Mississippi and applied to multiple schools. I had to send in the money for my spot because I still have not heard from some other schools. I am extremely nervous about moving to Louisiana it is not my first choice. Help!!
